Sorry, I know this is confusing. This is a fairly new site (hence not terribly active yet) and it is for the whole state (hence non-local events). Where you really want to be is here: transitionmilwaukee.ning.com, a brand new Transition site just for Milwaukee.
And yes, it is like Facebook for Transitioners.

I think we met at the Mad City Chickens screening..? Anyway, glad to see you here! Actually the Milwaukee group is in the process of migrating to a new site, at transitionmilwaukee.ning.com. Please check it out when you get a chance. You'll have to create your profile again, but most of the questions are similar so you can copy & paste the info from the first one you made. Hope to see you at our next meeting, tentatively scheduled for June 22. (Stay tuned for details.)
